UCF Off-Campus Housing Guide

Prices for the student apartment complexes around UCF in one place, and an honest comparison with renting a house with roommates or buying one your student can live in.

The quick picture

Student complexes rent by the bed: each roommate signs their own lease. Houses rent by the whole home, so the price per person depends on how many roommates share it.

These are estimates, not a loan quote or tax advice. The buying card assumes a 30-year fixed loan at Freddie Mac's national average rate (7.24% on Oct 29, 2026). Florida property tax and insurance vary a lot by home, roof age and flood zone, and home values near UCF were flat to slightly down over the past year. Buying also means being a landlord: finding roommates, vacancies and repairs. Talk with a lender and a tax professional before deciding.
